I just bought my 5th contender barrel , I put a Low price on a 6.5 TCU barrel and got it . All 5 barrels I bought have been used but all of them you could hardly tell they were ever on a frame . after I have a barrel a few months it has the frame hinge marks on it from being shot .
Is my contender the only one that leaves marks??

Mine get shot plenty and both my frames leave marks after about 30-50 rounds. The marks are great for telling how much a barrel has been shot.

I see the same thing as well. I'll get two whitish streaks along the chamber end of the barrel. This is true of the ones that I use the most.

on mine i had very very slight marks with wood forend put on pachmayers and marks are deep after just opening barrel a few times the pachs push in on the sides of my frame pretty hard
