Mtn Boy : I have a 1451 I picked up last year it is of the lower end on the scale for Anschultz cost wise, not the best looking wood but it does shoot as good as any in that price range, the only problem I have had with it was mounting a scope in the groved reciever I had to use Redfield rings as the bolt kept hitting the clamping part of the other brands I had here at the time (weavers and the weaver clones ) enjoy the rifle its a decent one for the price and after all its a Anschultz  :D    JIM

I ordered a pair of Anschutz rings for my 1451 from Champion Shooters Supply. They work real good with a Swift 3-9x40. I think they were around $26.
