Last of Colt's 2" snubguns
« on: December 24, 2007, 02:31:49 PM »
I find it a loss to the gun community that Colt has dropped their snubbies from production.  I have two questions regarding this;  first, what was the year that production ceased, and second, has there been any discussion of Colt reintroducing their line of short-barreled defense weapons?

More Importantly, I would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy holiday season.

Colt dropped their Pre-72 Colt Detective in 1972.  They replaced it with the Colt 1972 Detective Special, which was dropped in 1987.  Colt had other 2 inch models that were dropped are gone by 1987.
