Neff Cannons in SLC
« on: December 24, 2007, 04:46:31 PM »
Neff Cannons & Machine LLC will be at the Crossroads of the West Gun Show in Salt Lake City on Jan. 12 & 13th.

The Show is located at the Southtown Expo Center in Sandy Utah.   On display will be 1/3 scale field pieces, a CSA Iron Mortar (1/2 scale) and a desk top of the "Widow Blakely".  We all so have a display of Flags from the Civil War  along with currant flags of our military branches.

Have a good new year.

Almost a straight shot - 2130 miles from Pulaski to Malta.

In a word - 'rental car, unlimited miles'.

I think you would have to compress it and use it as a rocket fuel.   ;D

The motors used in Estes rockets are powered by compressed black powder.  There are no grains, so no spaces between the grains, so the powder only burns on the exposed end.  Hence my statement that it needed to be compressed.

There are bits of humor that will stay with us forever.

My wife says that I'm not eligable to be a human-cannonball.  We'll just have to keep to conventional travel means.

No problem, I was just trying to make it more realistic.  Well, a little more realistic.

Actually, the propellant in a BP rocket engine is called a "grain" (So there is one ;D).
