Adult sized stock for Model 11FYXP3 Youth

I just got a Model 11FYXP3 Youth rifle in .243. Has anyone gotten the adult sized stock from Savage for their youth sized rifle? If so, how much did it cost, and how much longer is the new stock? Thanks!

Check ebay or the classifieds on the gun forums for a stock, they're plentiful and much cheaper than buying a new one from Savage.  I believe the youth stock has a 1" shorter length of pull, 12.5" vs 13.5" for the full size.

Put a Limbsaver on it, and it will be the same length. Or buy a B&C Duramax for $80.

Midway and other places sell stock spacers which would add to the LOP and eliminate the need for another stock.

Could be a little more complex than you think.  Savage has changed from a stagered feed magazine to a center feed magazine not too long ago.  Mount bolt spacing is different and the magazine mounting is different, I have a full size plastic stock for a stagared feed short RH action sitting around you can have real cheap, but I bet if you have a new rifle you may need something different.  Larry
