Ted Williams Model 100 30/30
« on: December 26, 2007, 06:21:54 PM »
How do I find out when it was made ? We all know it's a Winchester 94 . My wife bought me one for christmas  , it looks like it has not been shot , no marks on the loading gate , no power build up inside . The number on the gun is ; v104xxx . Need help in finding out how old it is .

                                     Thanks Kenny

The Sears Ted Williams .30-30 were cosmetic variations of Winchesters Model 94 made between the mid-1960s and  1982 when Sears stopped retailing guns.  I once encountered a chart cross referencing gun models, manufacturer's and the sales chains.  Now if I can only remember where I saw that chart....
