WOLF 223 AMMO
« on: June 26, 2003, 12:49:29 PM »
I know this went around awhile back but todays range session was interesting. A buddy brought some Wolf ammo for his AR and accuracy was lousy. I let him shoot mine and he loaded a mag with his wolf ammo into my bushmaster and the second round some how got wedged on top of the bolt as it was trying to close. Jamed in there tight. Took about 10 min to get it free. Luckily it didn't dammage any thing. He went back to shooting his Colt and it did the same thing to his gun. Like to never got it out. Went back to shooting my hand loads and no more problems. It wasn't a magazine problem either as it happened in one of my mags and then one of his. I've seen stovepipes and such before but I've never seen one jam up an action like this.   KN

My mini 14 just loves the stuff.  It is good hot ammo...I especially like the hollow-points.
