How about this nifty surplus item form e-gunparts, never know what you may find crusing the net.  Larry

A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

Choate makes them. Just make sure you read what is on the grip, "Overall length must be 26" or longer". I don't know what that would be in Canada.

Midway has them about 6 bucks cheaper.

I've seen those before.  I think someone posted about it way back, that you needed to have about a 22" barrel to keep the OL legal.  They look cool, but, Popeye arms would be needed for anything more than a 410, I would think.  Wonder how it would work on a Handi Rifle?  What's the legal OL for a rifle, is it 26" also?

RIFLE and shotgun have to a over all length of 26 inches.
Barrels haveto be 16 inches for rifle and 18 inches for shotguns.
Need to keep them little longer 1/4" or 1/2". Marv.

You know, with that and a $200.00 tax stamp, a guy could have the .45-120 pistol from hell!

or a 4" to 12" barreled single shot shotgun/handgun/destructive device shooting a 3.5" 12 gauge shell loaded with the buckshot of your choice, from #4 to OOO. A real room clearer, and quite possibly a wrist breaker as well....<><.... :o

if you put that on a rifle, you will be converting a rifle to a pistol and in violation of certain federal laws.  for shotgun it's ok as long as the overall length is met.

From what I understand you could put it on a rifle as long as the OAL remains over 26". I don't know why you would want to but to each his own.

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

if you put this on a "rifle" it is no longer a "rifle".  it becomes a handgun since there is no shoulder stock regardless of overall length.  if it was originally a handgun frame such as a contender or encore, this would be fine and there is no 26" overall length requirement.  there aren't any federal regulations on how long a handgun barrel can be.  however, this began as a rifle and removing the shoulder stock converts it to a handgun which is not allowed.  hope that's all clear.
