the barrel should fit no problem .i have the same barrel and it fit on my older frame with no problems. .i shoot factory ammo out of mine for now until i get dies for it. i suggest you get them from jd jones personally at ssk industries.plus he will give you all the reloading data you will need. midway usa has some ammo left just got their flyer yesterday .my rifle is fun to shoot . have a ball .just my 2 cents worth. dave........
