Ruger#1

Happy new year, new to the board and would like to know  if ruger #1 in 7 br would make a good choice for high power?
What about using a 6.5 br improved for rams?  More questions to come.  thanks

elk300, If you already have a ruger #1 go ahead and use it, but a bolt action would be my choice over the #1. I have a 7br in a rem. 700 short action and it works very well, 130gr smk for c,p,t and 168 smk for rams using varget powder. If your mind is set on the ruger #1 or know where you can get one  use it by all means.
