country wit & wisdom on shotgunning
« on: January 03, 2008, 03:50:48 AM »
Hey Fella's here's something from an old time shotgunner probably 1950's. In Autumn when getting ready for hunting somethings about the gun need remembering. 1. Shotguns are short range guns 60 yards and less. 2.When hunting pheasant, always make sure your dog is clear before you shoot, any person's hunting with you should know better. 3. A longer barrel gun shoots with better accuracy and less bark. 4.To shoot right you aim small bores and you point big bores. 5.The gun's only as good as the hunter.       Not open to controversy or debate....I hope you guys enjoyed it. scout4<><
