RP not so hot on Immigration
« on: January 03, 2008, 05:21:13 PM »
I made a commitment that I would do a little more research on Mr. Paul & I have. I even decided to set aside for now his remarks about
wanting to get rid of the FBI & the Pentagon, which seems retarded if you offer no plan of your own to fill the intelligence void, which he did not.  Not ignore or not to mention, but not to let this be my deciding factor.

You can see here:          http://www.betterimmigration.com:80/candidates/2006/prez2008.html

I recently received an e-mail about the stance of ALL of the candidates on the immigration issue. As anyone should expect, Mr. Tancredo & Mr. Hunter are the strong ones here. Fred Thompson & Mr. Romney was not that good, but not bad compared to the rest. Then it is a tie for  Mike Huck. & Mr. Paul & the others are in bad shape, or I should say in worse shape with McCain & Rudy being in the same league as the Socialist Demoncraps, well all most.

I am NOT impressed with Mr. Paul in this regard & why should I be?

I want to see next how Mr. Paul is on gun control, but I suspect he will fall behind Hunter, Huck, & Thompson in that order, but ahead of the North East boys for sure.

So far for Mr. Paul, I don't think so!  ::)

Anyway you slice it we are in a heap of crap.  In my opinion there is not a candidate in either party that does not have issues in some area that is contrary to the general opinion of most Americans.  This is another one of those elections where we select a President from the lessor of two evils and hope for the best.

I don't think Ron Paul was ever a valid candidate, he made noise but his radical ideas would never lead to his election.  After reviewing the results of yesterdays Iowa caucus I foresee even greater problems for America, is there no one without flies available?

Dunkin Hunter sure has made the right noises when it comes to border security.  I think he's A-1 on the Second Amendment too.  Too bad he isn't audacious enough to garner any attention.

Duncan H was getting my support second to Dr. Paul I have to admit.

rex6666...I think Dr.Paul would have us return to the walk softly and carry a big stick concept in the classic sense since the WoT was very oversold to us.  His belief is that the financial/tax/monetray/import policies of this country are ruinous and cannot be sustained much longer with us only exporting democracy and world policification..  I tend to believe him.

..TM7

I think he has the walking softly part down to an art, but I am not too sure about the second part.

My choice has been between Tancredo & Duncan Hunter, but T. is gone & I am afraid that D.H. is soon to follow, which will leave me out of luck.
