Graybeard, don't you hunt with one like this?

I can't believe the model seven is 25 years old.
One sweet little gun in one sweet little round.

Yup mine is more or less like that. It appears to be pretty much a mildly revamped M7 CDL which is what my newest M7 is. Mine's a .260 Remington. Mrs. GB uses my original M7 from the very early days after it was introduced that is a 7-08. That gun has now been used by three of us in my family and is still going strong and looking good after all those years of use. It's never missed game and never needed a follow up shot and has been used in several states to take all sorts of game.

We have Model 7s in .260 Remington, 7-08 and .308 Winchester around here now a days.

Did you guys notice that the barrel length is 22 inches?  Kind of interesting, the original had a 18 1/2 inch tube, both of mine have a 20 inch tube.

Yeah I noticed that both the 25th Anniversary Special and the new Predator have 22" barrels like the magnums do and it says they are magnum contour barrels. Why I dunno. The original my wife uses has the 18.5" barrel all the rest I have are 20".

I'll be darned.
You would think they would make the anniversary more like the original.
Not longer like the 700.

That predictor has caught my attention though.
