I bought a 209 adapter for my triumph-when i fired the co2 cylinder all the gas escaped through the breach plug hole and blew back on me.
Tried it a second time and got same gas leak results-I contacted innovations, the company who makes the unit and they say
no idea what to do because they don't test them and are not familiar with the 209 in-lines but will look into it?? I never had any problems with their percussion cap or flintlock adapters.
Has anyone had the same problem? Seems to me there is no seal on the nipple to stop the gas from backing out of the plug hole.
I would fire off the round but it's too late by the time we get out of the woods and I really don't feel like taking the ml apart.
these triumphs are great and it isn't necessary to take anything apart for cleaning until after apprx. 25 shots.Just swab out the barrel , clean out the plug hole with a pipe cleaner and done! I also don't want to leave the powder in the barrel for a few days to a week--
thanks -LS
