Has anybody re-chambered a 17Mach2 Contender Carbine barrel to 17AH or other centerfire round....how did it work?....who did it?....all the pro's and con's.  The bullet diameter is the same and I think TC uses the same twist barrel for both.  I've got a new 23" 17HM2 barrel that I'm thinking about doing it to.  I love my HMR barrels but I just don't see much use for the 17HM2.  Thanks, Walt   :)

I think SSK has done that conversion . You might want to give them a call and ask .
