I'm going to allow this thread FOR NOW! We'll see where it goes and decide from that direction whether it stays or not. Keep it civil but I do think it's a valid topic of discussion on a Political Forum.

Better yet look at what has happened to South Africa , It isn't all that much about a Black Pres. there ,its more about an ideology
That came from a Predominately Black part of the country . And now being in power how it is dealing with other Blacks there and the whites also. Like here i don't think color has a lot to do with it ,its where and how you were raised and what you were taught.

I'm not worried about the color of our next president. I'm more worried about the socialist leanings and anti constitutional blather these candidates are spewing. Now as to personal preferences I will not vote for a muslim for any office in our great republic. Looking at the front runners for both the major parties I see only a choice of bad or worse amonst them. I"d have no problem voting for a person of any color as long as they were conservative. There are 2 reasons I do not like Obama he is a filthy liberal and he has muslim leanings.

Billy ,i think they are all a pack of lieing Bozos. On both sides ,On the Rep. side they only became pro gun when they saw any other stance would hurt them. That should tell them something but i don't think they listen.
The Dem's only look like the end of this country as we know it ,and welcome to the Socialist world Party.

I was the one who originallly deleted this post. It was reported as racist. I agree it is racist, and  debated in my mind removing it. Normally, in order to remain unbiased I would not comment publically on a post I took action on.  Since Bill has over ridden my decison, i think that frees me from my obligation of nuetrality.

Let me rephrase lgm270 post:

Before guilty American whites vote for a president of european ancestory they should ask the people of Europe  and Russia what it's like living under  Stalin and Hitler.

Obama's platform doesn't appeal to me, but no matter how much I like Ron Paul idea's, I can't get behind him either.  But neither are eliminated becauses of skin color or cultural background.

As stated in previous posts, I'm more concerned with Obama being a member of an organization or religion who's manifest is directed toward Africa instead of America.  As a President this must influence his decisions with regard to foreign policy and religious tolerance of all nationals, including Israel.  I distrust his Muslim upbringing, which may influence his decisions with regard to Arab diplomacy or lack thereof  including terrorism.  It is unfortunate that our political process does not just rely on the issues at hand.  One candidate expects some votes just because she is a woman and depends on a woman's outlook for them.  Another figures to gain votes from his race as indicated by recent poles that 58% of all African American voters are in favor of Obama.  I am not, repeat not, being discriminatory; just stating the facts.  I am concerned with the concept of using other national figures as role models for the US.  Especially when the situation is substantially different.  South Africa and other countries mentioned do not have the illegal immigration problems we have or are they under terrorist attacks as against Americans in general.  The problems there are internal.  Ours are both.

do countries that have black leaders call us ?
glad they didn't call Russia , or Hitler !

all i will say on this subject is in Va. we had a Governor that was Black , I did not vote for him on political reasons ( not republican ) ( him ) anyway he did a good job , ended departments etc. that had a white man tried it would have been race not need driven !
he is giving H. Clinton a run for the money and that's great !

what the heck !
the most bigoted thing in the USA for the past 50 years is the forcing on all that race does not matter .
It does and we need to realize it and keep it positive !
take school , the entire school system was made equal the negative effect has all but ruined public schools and IMHO added to the gang problem !
had a positive approach been taken all students learning experience would have been elevated to the highest level at that time not all students level being lowered !
the same with housing , if someone wants to improve then help them don't require a level of destitution to keep receiving help , a positive approach would be to have levels of help so as to allow people to climb out of poverty in steps not a single jump that can't be made by most !
If M.L.King had lived would this have taken place ? would AL and JESSIE even been a foot note ? I don't know either !
BUT WHAT WE HAVE AIN"T WORKING TO WELL !

if you come upon someone stranded in a hole you reach down and help them up not jump down and put yourself in there pediment !
but if you were a politician it would be easier to control people in a hole !
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

As far as the Rev. Jackson ,MLK ,wasn't real fond of him either. This still has nothing to do with race ,a lot of people of all races ride the Welfare system ,you are right it is a failed system. Bill Cosby has spoken out to his race on a lot of these matters ,and they are addressing it all from within. Gray Beard has allowed this to stay ,lets all be civil ,In talking about a Black candidate it is only a reference to his particular voting block ,just as the others are White candidates. After that it is only the issues he or she represent. I don't like Obama because he is a Liberal , and would be just as bad as Clinton. After listening to Dr.Rice ,she would be far better than what we have running in the top two now ,if she was running. As far as what and where you are from ? I wouldn't care if you were a purple ,unisex, Alien, from Mars born here ,if you could do the job ,and Remember you took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Shootall: I understand what you are saying ,we are only voicing how we feel. Yes the people to be the first to point a finger as to Race or gender are the very ones running for the office . Them and the Media are consumed with it ,and very little as to the real problems facing this country are really being addressed.
If they are, its some little sound bite with a reporter on at 2:00 AM ,and usually its a 180 on how you know they really feel. Most Americans feel that this is the worst bunch of candidates we have ever had ,on both sides. No real leaders ,they are either there as a favor from their party ,or because they had the money to run.

Sad deal huh Shoot. Rep. we have the three stooges.
Dem's ,we have Hitler,Stalin ,or Mau se tung. all wanting to come to Power.
When i say Sara Palin ,all i get is she is to young ,well at least she isn't stupid.
At least on record she stands for the oath she took.
She isn't afraid of the media.
If she was the Pres.she would kick butt like she did in Alaska.
She hasn't been corrupted by Washington.
Give her a stage and the people love her
She is very pro 2nd amendment.
She is secure the Borders first ,then talk.
Open Anwar, and tell the Mullahs to stick it. and then they will buy oil from us.
Middle east either accepts our help ,or good luck guys.
Europe, has no Business in our affairs ,and America doesn't need to join partners with a bunch of country's in South America who's economy's are flat ,dragging down our own ,adding to our problems.
Welfare is a failed system, the ones who need it ,do not get it and the ones who do get it Abuse it,get a Haircut and get a job.
Medical ,Get the Government ,the Lawyers,The insurance company's out of it ,and it May work again.
Borders ,I am not going to sit here and watch an immigrant from lets say Italy ,come here and be required to stand in line and do things as the law provides, and watch an Illegal immigrant from Mexico ,go to the head of the line.
On my watch they will be deported, we can not afford this.
All of this that and the other ,What does the Constitution say? Read the Constitution and then you will know what my position is.
Guns ,Read the Constitution.

She can go on,the room becomes silent,i have heard her speak.
But she is to young ,She hasn't the experience.
Do these People running appeal to you ?
Do you think they have the experience ?
Do you hear them say what She says?
Do you see her cower ?
Do you see her double talk ?
Do you want her to go to Washington and become like them ?
But she is only 48 years old ,Hillary is far more suited,Mc Cain ? Mr Amnesty with Ted Kennedy.
At this point who cares about experience ,she has more than they do,She isn't a Lier.
If  She was on the Ballot would you vote for Her ?
OH she is to young ,Rudy and Mc Cain have more experience.
Yes they do , Experience in what ? lieing ? well i guess they got that.

I just want to know one thing.

Who decided barrack Obama was black?

As far as I know his father was a black man from Kenya, and his mother a white woman from the US.

He is playimg the race card to the hilt, and we are all following in suite.

Race and gender should mean nothing. Getting this country back on the right path should mean everything.

Having said that, I will not be voting for Barrack or Hillary. I probably wont vote at all. The Republicans dont have anything better to offer. Mcain wants to extend the debacle in Iraq and Huckabee is wayyyyyy to bible belt for me.

Pictures of a young Obama show a darkskinned black person.

Now he is almost white.  It's kind of like a Michael Jackson transformation where a black man morphs into a white man (or white woman, in Michael Jackson's case).   Is there a measure of irony that this  African who is running to be "our 1st black president" is obviously trying to change his appearance and  masquerade as a white man?

Apart from trying to "change his spots" and alter his physical appearance, Obama has a great reputation for being "brilliant" or  ("bril-yant!" as Oprah Winfrey puts it).

It was recently disclosed that in a convoluted real estate transaction Obama obtained a 1.6 million dollar residence at a $300,000 discount from a "slum lord" who has funded Obama's political career and who is being tried for  extortion.  If Obama  is so smart, why did he participate in such an obvious fraud that would be fairly easily discovered and do it with the complicity of a corrupt client of his law firm who would thereafter be in position to blackmail him with the threat of disclosing that and other misconduct?  Who really owns the pink slip on Obama?  Will we hear this corrupt Negro, who accepted a tidy little unreported, tax free bribe of $300,000  condemn "tax breaks for the rich" if he secures the Democratic nomination?

You didnt answer my question. You are in my opinion a racist, and are consumed only with the color of his skin. You are the type of person that is going to get BO elected president. Like I said he is playing this black card to the hilt. He is not black, just like Iam not German or English. When people like you acknowlege him as a black candidate it only makes his possibility at getting the nomination stronger. Like I said, I dont want him for president because of what his policies are, not because of the color of his skin.

Who decided Obama was blacik? Well among others, he, the main stream media, his wife, his church and the black population of the USA, that's who.  Too bad you could not resist your urge to stoop to name calliing and personal attacks.    I have never said anyone should vote against Obama because of his skin color.  Perhaps  you're confusing me with someone else.  His race (his skin color, for whatever reason, is actually white, apart from the  tell tail African features) is important because Blacks vote as a block and many people have proclaimed is candidacy as an historic first  because he is the  "first Black presidential candidate" to have a serious chance.  This is publicly proclaimed as evidence of "how far we've come."  (Other evidence of "how far we've come" is seen in the fact that the name of  George Washington, the person who did more  than any other single individual to found our country, was stripped from his national holday in his honor and replaced by a holiday in the name of another negro fraud and con-man, Miichael King, aka Martin Luther King.)

The only people who think race "doesn't matter" are guilty whites who are obsessed with doing penance for things done by long dead people before any of us were born.   Race matters very much indeed to the Blacks and Hispanics who openly proclaim their hatred for the white majority and whose leaders openly proclaim their intentions to destroy us.  I was in Los Angeles during the 1992 Rodney King riots. When Blacks  blocked off streets and pulled whites out of their cars and beat them savagely, they didn't  attack whites because they were racist, but because they were white.  Race may not "matter" to most whites,  but it matters a great deal to the non-whites  who would kill us if they could.

I actually think an Obama presidency would be a good thing, when compared to the alternatives.  Notwithstanding Obama's cult status, he is no  messiah but simply a racially ambiguous con man who has been created by public relations professionals in the main stream media.  After guilty whites get to vote for a Black who will  screw up like everyone else, the honeymoon will be over and his status as a charlatan will be more apparent.

Also, Obama belongs to a virulently  anti-White racist church in Chicago that openly expresses its anti-white hatred and anti-American sentiments.  Hopefully at some point in time someone will ask how a Negro who belongs to a racial separatist church with a "Non-negotiable comittment to Africa" can be president of the United States?  Shouldn't the President of the US have a non-negotiable comittment to the United States and not to foreign  countries?  Aparently the Black voting block of this country does not think so.

Obama's membership in a virulently racist church  cannot be supressed and can be used as a battering ram against him and in support of the idea that whites should have as much right to advocate white raciial  interests as Blacks and Hispanics have to advocate their racial interests.

Now a guy has come forward who alleges he did cocaine and had homosexual relations with Obama in 1999.  This was less than 10 years ago and was not teenage  misconduct.  Obama was in this mid thirties in 1999.  Every time I buy a gun I am required to  fill out a form asking questions about drug use.  Is anyone bothered by the  idea that someone like Obama who can't legally own a firearm because of his drug use should be president of the US and have atomic bombs?   Here is the  link:

    http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56626

Obama has already proclaimed his belief in driver's licenses and amnesty  for Mexicans and other foreign nationals illegally in  our country.  Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Obama is more loyal to the interests of foreign nationals than American citizens?

his entire platform is based on change !
considering change from the Constitution as it was intended is what has gotten us in the mess we seem to be in . One must question the need for change !

I don`t much care if the candidate is Black or female...........I`m having a really hard time finding one I think is honest and whose integrity is alive and well.   Might be easier to find an honest lobby-ist.

Hillary Clinton has apologized to "black voters" for "racist" remarks by former Democratic vice-presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro  to the effect that Barak Obongo would not be the presidential front runner if he were not black.

How sweet it is!  The Democrats who tarred the rest of us as "racists" for decades are getting a taste of their own medicine and being spattered with the same mud they have slung so often at the rest of us for simply speaking the truth.

90% of blacks are voting for Obongo and the media is crowing about how wonderful it is that they can finally vote for one of their own kind.... votes based on skin color!   It's wonderful when blacks and other non-whites make decisions based on skin color. (If whites make decisions based on skin color, however, it's  called "racism.")
