Does anyone own a highwall  in 35 whelen ? I know I'm probably looking at a custom gunsmith job but I would like to know if they exist out there allready. The only caliber listed on the winchester sight right now is 30-06. There is one on the used rack at my local gun store in the new 325 short mag.  Looks and feels nice but I like the more common calibers so it is not an option.

AFAIK, the Whelan was never a factory offering in the 1885 Highwall, so any seen would be either a rebarreled whatever, or most likely a rebored .30-06.

A rebore is a $150 job (approx).

Any contact info for this smith?
