How much castor based lure do you put on your castor mounds?

Take a q-tip or stick that size and dip in your castor lure and put on your mound. I dont use a mound , just a stick with castor on it stuck in ground in front of trap... the bvrs nose will lead him over or thru the bodygrip. Building a castor mound does add eye apeal but isnt necessary. Good Luck.

I ,on the other hand,--always make a mound.Lee is right,the mound of fresh mud--does lend eye appeal .I put a glob of lure ,about the size of my thumb nail on a stick--the stick is then thrown on top of my mound.
I love playing in the mud.
