Springfield 1911-A1 grips question
« on: January 10, 2008, 04:28:27 AM »
I have the Springfield Armory Stainless Loaded Target model and would like to put Black Rubber Diamond Grips on it.  I'm finding it hard to find a set that will fit the ambidextrous safety that it has on it.  Any suggestions as to who makes a set and that is full size and not "slim"?

I don't think anyone makes a rubber grips that are cut for an Ambi Safety.   I modified a set of Pachmyer grips to work with an Ambi Safety.   If you are just looking for a set of Black double diamond grips that will work with an Ambidextrous Safety, there are several choices including this one from Hogue.
