Eastman Carbon Pop up blind
« on: January 11, 2008, 05:54:29 AM »
Anyone used one of these?  Either two man or the one man rifleman?  Wondering how they are room wise.  Can you use a regular size folding chair or a 5 gallon bucket to sit on or does the seat need to be shorter?  I have one of their hub blinds and its decent, escpecially for the price, pretty roomy but its stiff and little noisy to push out the hubs.  Probably needs to be put up and taken down several times to be easier.  It stakes down good.  Thinking about one of the carbon ones for being lighter to carry in further.  Had an Ameristep dog house which was fine but did not like the fringe along the pole sleeve.  Looks good but too noisy if you are in a windy area.  Did shoot a little buck out of it in muzzleloader season, he made a beeline to the blind to see what it was I think.
