I'm looking to buy either a big horn knight or a wolverine 209 in a 22in barrel. I found some on a auction site for $250 to $290 . What's a good price for these guns?

That's around the right price give or take.

I have a stainless camo stocked Bighorn in excellent shape that it would take a minimum of $300.00 to buy. It has the really nice fiber optic sights as well. Tack driver with TC Shockwaves.
But, don't plan on selling mine. Thought about selling and buying an Encore SS ML barrel but I came to my senses.

My vote is the bighorn. I have one in stainless and the black thumb hole stock it is a very accurate rifle, and came with 209 plug and a
plug for #11 and musket nipples, fiber optic sights and black iron sights.

I bought my NIB Wolverine 209 for $115 shipped on gun broker. Put a Mk-85 #11 plug and hammer on mine. I found the blowback with the 209's quite obnoxious and annoying. Shoots one big ragged hole with NE 460gr conicals and some Goex Express BP.

Sounds good. Can you post a range result when you get the chance?

Sounds good. Bass Pro has that particular scope on sale now. I might have to order me one.
