good luck to you Lloyd, hope your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.

I go next week to have another doc try to convince me to let him cut on my back but I don't like the idea of someone diggin' around in there. ;)  Then I gotta go in a couple weeks and see the doc about getting both my knees replaced.  I know how bad the pain can get and I really hope the surgery works for you.  Keep us posted and let us know how you're doing.

I wish you the best on this surgery Lloyd.

Please do not take the Lead pot in there with you though. It might have worked but the Liberals took the ventilation fans out of the bathrooms cause they would rather smell the stench
Of human excretement than to live with the idea that someone might be smoking a cigarette in there.

had to laugh at that one. Last time i was in for surgery i snuck down to the nearest waiting lounge which was in the childrens intesive care section and had a cigerette in the bathroom. They were running up and down the hauls raising hell trying to find out who the criminal was that had the nerve to smoke in there hospital bathroom. Youd have thought i had kidnapped one of the kids in there or something.  Same hospital 20 years ago would have brought you an ashtray. Or at least suggested you open the window and blow the smoke outside. Now because of liability the windows dont even open. I guess they figure if a guy cant have a smoke he will jump!! Oh well its about time for me to quit anyway.
I wish you the best on this surgery Lloyd.

Good luck with the surgery,Loyd.
The docs told me 27 years ago that I needed my back worked on. I told them to sign the release forms and call my wife. No surgery yet. Mine hurts like heck sometime but I don't like the idea of going under the knife, so I'll just leave it the way it is for now.

Glad to hear you made it through the first part. I hope the second parts goes well for you too.
I've sent a prayer out for you!
You have to get better soon because you'll have to try out the 45-70 that Clements is building for you.
Get well soon Lloyd! Take care.

Lloyd, best of luck on the surgery.

Good time to quit the ciggs.  The first time I quit (about 30yrs ago), was while I was in the hospital recovering from an appendectomy.  You'll feel a lot better, and you will actually shoot better.  By the way, I quit about 4 times during my 61 years -- each time for at least a year, and up to 10 yrs.  Once you quit, don't ever start again, no even "just one".

Again, hope the surgery works out, nothing worse than a bad back.

Paul

Lloyd,

I sure will not preach at you about smoking. Your a big boy and will do what you want but I do have to say from what you have told me. STOP SMOKING WHILE YOU ARE CASTING BULLETS AT LEAST! Every shooter I have ever heard of getting lead poisoning smoked while casting or cleaning their guns!

Good luck and get well.
