Cowboys choked when it mattered most.  I had my doubts as to whether we would be able to pull off a third win against the Giants.  Congrats to you guys.

I'm throwing my support behind the venerable #4 and the Pack!

I do not feel to bad for Mr Romo, Jessica is licking his wounds today, imagine that. I hope TO does not read this post, he has a tendency to cry.

I too will have to go with the PACK
I can't really see where this was all Romos  fault, yea maybe he missed some, but in the
second half he did not have a line in front of him, and more penalties from linemen
than i could count. I do believe that if you are a profesional in a play off situation,
you should act like it. Maybe the Mexico vacation could have waited until after the
FOOTBALL PLAYING was done (just looks unprofessional). MHO that and $1.00 will
get you a cup of coffee (some places)

it wasnt romo's fault at all.   the whole team had a hand in losing that game,  to pin it only on romo would be silly and unreasonable.   he is a young q.b. and will only get better if he stays healthy.   as far as the vacation,  he did exactly what the coach encouraged the team to do.   if anyone has to answer for that, it should be the coach.   although i dont think he was wrong in encouraging the team to get some r+r.

That was an awesome Giants/Cowboys game.  I was jumping up and down pretty much throughout :)
As well as the Giants have been playing lately, they should be a good match for the Packers, but not enough.
This should be a good game to watch---from the warmth of my living room---it'll be cold for everyone.

I'm thinking the Giants defense will be going after Favre.  I hate to think it, but I'm afraid they'll be taking him out of the game.  They will probably even take whatever penalties they have to, to get the job done.

I hope it doesn't come to that.  I doubt it will.
I'm surprised that some team hasn't done something like that to Tm Brady though.  The one thing to remember in each case: these guys don't stay with one team too long. They may be a future teammate. Also, with the nature of the NFL fines and the crackdown on behavior, a player taking out a star QB would be in a world of hurt with the Commish

highly unlikely.  the giants are a good organization with class players.  i like the team.   hopefully no one will get hurt, and the refs call a good game.   may the best team win.

IMO, after the last 3-4 games the cowboys played, the Packers are playing the best ball in the NFC. I was not impressed by anything the Giants did and don't think they have a chance against the pack.

I am going with the Pack also. Too bad that Gibbs retired again though. I wonder who we will have next year.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking about.  Obviously the Giants defense will stand there and let Brett pick them to pieces--out of pure respect for his longevity and desire to give him his well deserved glory.  Heck, there's no reason to even watch the game.

The Giants are going to put as much pressure on Farve as they can.  They'll try to sack him, and hit him as often as they can.  Just like Green Bay is going to try to do against Eli, that's football.  But they aren't going to try to take him out with a cheap shot.  They didn't do it against the Pat's, Buc's, Cowboys or anyone else.  They're not going to do it this week either.

nobody said that.  the first statement i took as you saying the giants would cheap shot favre to get him out of the game.  i doubt they would do such a thing.  i dont even think they would hurt him intentionally, even if it were a legal play.   like i said,  they are a class organization.    it is possible favre might get hurt by chance, but that isnt likely either. he has the longest starting record in nfl history for a reason, he aint no sissy.   and even IF that happened,  the back up aint no joke.   just because they dont play often doesnt mean they arent any good.   many current starting qb's were once favre's backup.
at any rate,  i am looking forward to a great ggame by two great teams,  i am pulling for the pack (obviously), but if the giants win i wont have a hard time with it because i like the players and the giants organization.    it is always good to see qualitly clubs do really well.   and honestly, i like all four teams that are in the hunt right now.  i just like the packers more than the others. lol  ;D

It's going to be downright nasty.  I've heard plenty of tickets available still--all sold but plenty of scalpers out there.
Just had a guy Sat AM tell me he is still trying to get rid of 1 single ticket.  Too cold for me!!

My co-workder bought 2 tickets as soon as they went on sale, 400 bucks each. Then got a room in Green Bay, 2 night minimum 400 buck a night, ouch.

The seats are on the Giants 5 yard line, 6th row. Still to spendy, to freeze your a$$ off.

I'm very interested to see GB's answer to Strahan! Will it be a triple team ala Dallas. At 6'6" and a very lean 250, and similar age to Favre, Strahan just may be playing better than anyone. You can bet he will be on Brett every play to the end. Google up snowball fight in the Meadowlands, should anyone think that the best road team in NFL history, can't play in adverse weather!
