What does the bottom of the bore look like? Flat, hemispherical or other?

What does the bottom of the bore look like?

The bore is in the form of a truncated cone.  The bottom of the bore is flat, looks like about 1 inch diameter circle.  The muzzle is about a 2-inch bore diameter.  I'm going on memory but I'll go measure it to make sure those numbers are close and post again if it is much different.

I usually don't view a whole lot of the videos as I'm on dial-up.  This one took about 20-30 minutes.

Let me voice a few things of concern about the content.

It APPEARS (hard to tell from the camera angle used) the the person loading it was over or close to being over the muzzle after the powder was loaded.  That's not a cool place to be.

I was amazed at the bravery of putting the touch hole on the far side and reaching around to light the fuse.  Again, that is too close!

The ram-rod should have been of a U shape so IF the cannon were to fire it wouldn't hurt/damage quite as much as if the hands were on-line with the bore.

Other than that, it looked like fun.

These things need to be pointed out so that new folks don't copy our errors.
