Single Six Grips on New Models with Lock

Just purchased a new single six 5 1/2" blue with the new internal lock inside of the grip frame.  Have not picked it up yet.

This new gun come with the black rubber grips.

I have a few pairs of Lett grips from old models.  Can anyone tell me if these will fit the new guns?  If they don't fit, can the be modified to fit?

I haven't seen a new Single Six with the lock so I have no idea if the grip frame is the same as the 'New' Vaquero or the Blackhawk.  Those grips you have will not fit the 'new' Vaquero grip frame but can be modified.  I did this with a pair of stag grips for the RBH.  I cut about an 1/8" from the front of the grips and then had to take some material off the rear of the grip to match the frame.  Of course I also had to relieve the back of the grip to clear the lock and fill the pin hole with epoxy and drill a new one as that was in a different place too.  So it can be done, but it does require a fair amount of work.  44 Man
