Sportster barrel info needed.

I'm strongly considering buying at a Sportster in .17HMR. My local gun shop has one on the shelf. If I buy it I want to send the frame in to be fitted with a Sportster .22LR barrel. If you look in the new 2008 catalog some .22LR Sportsters have sights mounted on the barrels but others don't. The barrel accessory list does not specify what come with what in regards to the Sportster barrels. Anyone have any insights on this?

I'd give em a call or email, they've changed the rimfire sights a couple times in the last few years. You can get sights added to any accessory barrel that doesn't normally come with them for $47, or a bit more, the cost may have increased some.
