My local dealer is a .17 fan of assorted calibers and he mentioned that he's made the order with the factory for 50K of the new ammo.
I'll check with him as to the ballistics and post tommorow.

it dawned on me that he's a member over at rimfire central as maybe they've got all the poop there?
