I installed a Pachmayr Encore grip on my G2 using a OTT Grip Clip that sells for $10. It fits nicely. The grip is handfilling. It is much heavier than the G2 rubber grip that I replaced. The new grip is a nice match to the old Contender Pachmayr forend that I am using. Haven't had a chance to shoot it as yet but should help with recoil control on a 45/70.
