small remington rant

I put off an 870 lefty for 2-3 years because I really would like a 20 ga gauge and all they offered was a 12 gauge in left handed so in october I bought me a brand new 12 gauge left handed 870 express.
looked on remington web site today and what do they have >:( New for 2008 20gauge 870 left hand 26" barrel that is how my luck goes

So get the new model. The one you bought has good value and should sell for a good price. If you want a lefty bad enough, the solution is simple  ;)

VLS is right. Your shotgun is only 3 months old. I would think you could sell it and maybe only loose $50.00 on it. That is my luck also a day late and a dollar short. Dale

Take the 12 back to where you bought it and tell them your rant. They ought to treat you right on a trade in.  Or take it on consignment.  Might want to hang onto that 12 gauge too however.  You never can tell when you might need to go duck hunting.   ;D

The guys where I got the 12 alway are fair, but  I'm going to hang on to the 12 It's just one of those things  I just wanted to complain  a little.  thanks for listen besides if I sell it now 3 months from now remington will make a 20"improved cyl. slug barrel for a left handed 12 gauge ;D ;D

A 12 gauge is a 'must' in any gun collection.  The 20 gauge is a plus.  I wouldn't get rid of the 12 gauge.  One day you'll be glad you have it.  IMO.

I agree with jvs, and I thought it was common to have more than one 12 gauge. I only suggested he sell it because it seemed he was set on getting that new 20 he's been yearning for.

Ok people, how many 12 gauges do you have at home? 2 here and am going to add another by fall. Maybe its time to start a poll  ;D

I was just blowing off a little steam  I like the laminate stock on my 870  it is a good gun

If you would have asked me back in September - I could have told you that they were already available then.

I guess nobody listens or thinks of asking.

Grice Gun Shop had them in their Fall Sales Flyer last year in September!
