The season opens tomorrow in Florida. Went out of Ozello (Hernando County). Got on the water around 0730. Started fishing until the sun came up a little higher. Did three drifts and got in the trout. Must have boated 25 or so with 6 keepers. Finally got in the water and looked for scallops. Found only three and looked hard for them. Will go tomorrow and hope for the best, but I'll be sure and take my rod for the trout.

Two corrections to the above post. Ozello is in Citrus county. Secondly, went out Tuesday, opening day and limited out in no time. As usual, I scouted in the wrong place on Monday. Planning on another trip tomorrow (Thurs)
