getting out of the hospital present

finally found a gun ive looked for for a while know. A marlin 336D which is the guide gun in .35 rem. Every time in the past i found one i was to broke to buy it but this time i said damm the credit card full speed ahead!!

Good for you ... enjoy ...

I am starting to look for a nice .35 Rem in a 336 myself and only one week after I bought a 30-30 in a 336 CS. This madness will stop some day ... after I am deceased!

Hope everything went well and you have a speedy recovery. Enjoy the new rifle. I too would like to find a good used .35 Rem Marlin. I really like that caliber I hunted very successfully for about 11 years with a T/C Contender pistol chambered in 35 Rem.  I almost forgot I owned a shotgun. Now that NY allows rifles in the southern zone. I think a Marlin .35 Rem would fit right in.

Congrats Lloyd, I know what you went through. Being broke isn't any fun. Not familiar with the D model (send me some pics if you have time)but, I'm sure it will please you. Bought my first .35 Remington 336RC a while back and have loved the experience. Mine has a lot of blue wear but, will stay now that I have finally found one that I can afford. That son of mine(six_gunz) has gone Marlin wild, lately must be a chip off the older block?
