HIGH ALTITUDE HELP HINTS:

Hey guys and gals:
 I could use a few hints on overcomming the thin air dizzys  :eek: What works better then drinking a lot of water?I found that workes pretty good for me.Is there anything better for my 63 year old bones?other then not doing it? :(  :(
It usually takes me about two days to get used to the thin air latley.And this walk up Pikes Peek I know that it will get rough above 10,000 ft,so please let me know what workes before I leave next week.

Well for me, it's nice to get acclimatized. I'm told 3 days at the altitudes I'll be hiking in, though I never seem to do so.
   Like you, I drink plenty of water before and during. Lots of water to me is pretty bland so I've been using instant sugared tea to help the taste some.
   I always have to tell myself from time to time that I'm not in some forced death march and I get there when I get there. So easy does it till I do.
