I needed some back-up leather for by back-up revolvers.  I have wanted a back-up set for a long time so when I invite someone out for CAS shooting I don't have to go, hat in hand, and borrow the wheelguns from another pard.  They are always willing but I like to not have to worry about this.
Just found a nice pair of Ubertis for a super price.  For leather I went with Big Ed (San Pedro Saddlery).  Getting a pair of holsters and shotgun slide.  Figure the new pard can bring his own belt as I am what you would call "great of girth." :grin:  
 Big Ed was even willing to make an 8 round shotgun slide (they only show a 6-round one on their web.)  Someday I'll get a shotgun belt but that will be down the road.  
So, I have them or order and in about 6 weeks I'll be already to share the enjoyment of CAS with new pards.

I have a Big Ed, canvas belt. He sewed the bottoms of the loops on ten of them, so the shells won't go in too far. Kind of gamey I know, but canvas holds 'em pretty good. Then he put 10 cartridge loops on there for me. Trouble is the belt is starting to look pretty scroungy.
Think I could wash it somehow?
I have plans to get a red shotgun belt to top off my outfit. It will be one of those kind with the leather strip sewed under the loops to keep the shells high. First I need to save a little jingle. :-)

Might want to hand wash the belt in Woolite in the kitchen sink.  Let it air dry.  Should do it.
Know that we all could use a bit more $$, but then we would find something to spend it on :grin:

I will try the hand wash method. I guees the water won't bother the leather on it where the buckle and flap are. Fact is I think I will do it right now, since it is supposed to get up to about 100 today. It should dry near immediatly. Thanks
