Savage model differences
« on: January 24, 2008, 01:03:30 PM »
I just bought a Model 11 in 7mm-08 and was wondering, what is the difference between a model 11 and a model 10? I know that the three digit models are usually long action and the two digit models are short action, but what is the difference between a 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16? (and 110, 111, 112, 114, 116, of course!) Thanks in advance!

All of the actions are the same but the finishes and stocks are different. the 16 is a short action stainless synthetic where as the 14 is a short action blued with a walnut stock. ect.
