No they did not and they never should, it's very popular and sells very very well from what I know  ;)

I love mine and I hope they never do. An awesome factory rifle.
I just wish they would offer more calibers for it....

I agree they should offer it in more calibers. Off the top of my head I would like to see it in the 308, 243, 300 Win Mag and the 7MM Mag. Dale

I would love to see it available in either the PPC calibers or BR.

Say what?  ??? You do realize it's on the super short Model 7 action with a 40x trigger group don't you? Would be kinda hard to shoe horn a belted magnum full length cartridge into one of them.  :o

Hmmmm

While it may not be in the catalog, you can still get your hands on one. Every website that sells firearms still offers them and your local shops distributors can get one shipped in no time. If you started this thread with the intention of seeing whether or not you should pounce on one, maybe now is the time  ;)

There's no time like the present, use that tax return $$ and support Big Green, err I mean Cerberus, err yeah that's it.

. Off the top of my head I would like to see it in the 308

There was a run of .308s that were evidently a Gander Mountain exclusive. Not sure if they are still available or not.

That is a good price. I guess I was not thinking when I blurted out 300 or 7MM. Dale

The XR100 is still listed on Remington's website as available this year. It's chambered in the same three rounds it always has been .223, .204 and .22-250. MSRP is $1057 this year. I think I paid about $750 or so out the door for mine in 2005.

If you can live with it being a single shot (I can as a varmint rifle with no problems at all) then it really is a super choice for a varmint rifle. I like the way it feels at the bench and they are super accurate as are all Remington Varmint rifles. The trigger is just absolutely super and I never felt the slightest need to touch the adjustment on mine it was good to go right from the factory.

And the best part is it comes with the gray laminate stock which is my absolute favorite stock for any rifle. I could do without the thumbhole feature but really for bench work like it's designed for that feature isn't a handicap.

I have one in a 223 love it. I never thought I would like a thumb hole till I tried this one and it fits real well. One of these days when I have everything else I mite look for one in a 204.

The XR-100?! I always wanted one and this doesn't bode well. I assumed they'd be around forever seeing as they are very well known and sold well. I may have to borrow some $$ and snag one after hearing this news  :(

Rest assured, dealers can get their hands on what's left and I hope there's a lot, for our sakes. Maybe they're bringing out a newer model?

Yeap, I was fortunate enough to get one ;) and boy what a shooter!
I looked everywhere for more info and couldn't come up with anything on it. I figured it was an exclusive or an extra unpaid for 308 from the Custom shop. Nice to hear someone else knows about it other than me and my friend.
