OTASCO 336 Commemoratives

I looked at a Mountain Man Commemorative today in pretty nice condition with a 4X Tasco mounted on it.  The barrel was marked 3084S Limited Edition.  They wanted $329.00 which is too much IMO.  Metal was 100% wood was perhaps 85%

It was exactly like my Glenfield 30A (birch stock)except for the brass colored coin in the stock and it had a cross bolt safety which surprised me.

I know they also had the Alamo Commemorative made up by Marlin.

I'm thinking they made perhaps 8-9 others.

What were the others?

I like store brand and funky Marlin/Glenfields

So do I..Store brand are kinda collectible  some folks will say they are inferior. But in marlins case not so.
is it a full length or half magazine. I Have a Wally World Marlin a 30AW shoot the best I've seen a lever shoot 18" barrel half Mag  straight st  I love it. You have better control then me  that otasco would be in the locker if it was me. did you try to talk him down?
Another good collectible is Hardware store single shot shot guns most a Belgium, some are from the US.

This one has a full length magazine.  I live in NW FL.  If I didn't already have 2 Glenfield .30-30s, I'd have bought it.  If it had been in another caliber I'd have bought it.  If it had a straight or walnut stock I'd have bought it.

This store will usually come down 10% for me because I'm in there once a week.  The bolt, inside of the receiver, and the hammer had almost no scuffing which tells me it probably hasn't been shot yet.  The scope and mounts look like they could have been part of a package deal.  OTASCO was something like a Western Auto store I believe.  They went Chapter 11 in 1988.

I picked it up and put it back at least 5 times;)

I remember OTASCO from  OK. Yeah just like western auto I think it was for Oklahoma Tire and supply company. or  for  Gil O'tasco the irish scope maker
