Couple of questions regarding accessory barrels.....
« on: January 29, 2008, 09:15:32 AM »
I have had a .280 Rem handi rifle since 2004 and have never sent it to have extra barrels fitted to it. My first question is- will my .280 hit the same and not be detrimental to accuracy if i take barrel off and then put it back on again? Or will I have to sight in again?
Secondly is the 26" .50 cal mz barrel drilled and tapped for scope and what powder charge is it rated for?
Thirdly is the .45 colt carbine barrel drilled and tapped for scope or is it irons only. These are the two barrels I have in mind to get.

Switching barrels was covered in this thread...

Huntsman load info can be found in the Huntsman/Sidekick forum.

All current production rifle barrels are drilled and tapped for a scope base including the Huntsman.
