Will a 700 cdl SF fit in a H.S precision sporter stock?

Im wondering if the stainless fluted barrel is a different diameter than a standard bdl barrel.  Id like to get a H.S precision sporter stock for the rifle, but don't want to modify that stock.  Any ideas?
