I understand they are discontinued in 2008. At the local shop they have 2 Model 7 XCR with the refined trigger and they are chambered in .308
The barrel is fluted and the contour is more than a standard Model 7.
If anyone owns one and could comment on it, that would be great.
I reload, so tailoring loads will be a summer time activity and a current owner of a CDL in 35 Whelen, which is a gem of a cartridge !
