Please comment on my video, but remember to keep it intelligent and not stoop to these idiot's level.  Most of them are dumb, ignorant teenagers like our own kids...Fire back w/ the facts...Like how there IS over 100 people alone in the lower 48 States who were killed or maimed by the wolf.

Thanks...

IIRC for some stupid reason the WVDNR wants to introduce wolves here. It's probably for some federal money.

Wolves are starting to show up in Illinois, mostly the Northern part, but they've also been seen in the central and southern parts of the state as well. They are a protected species here....you can't shoot them.  >:(

Dave,  do you remember a few years back when WV shipped some coyotes in to thin the deer herd?  I'm not sure if it was the whole state or just select counties but I know Pocahontas county where I'm from had them shipped in.  Well about 2 weeks later the state/county had a $50 bounty for every head or hide you brought in.  The yotes took over and killed about every rabbit in the county and put a dent in the turkey population as well, they killed tons of lambs, sheep, and calves, oh and they did manage to kill a few deer but that was the last thing on their menu.  Then WV decided to use birth control for deer in our county; now the deer are few and far between and about 50% of the foxes and coons have rabies!  Not sure if the birth control pills contributed to the rabies, but it was pretty rare until they dropped off the little pill.  Now WV is introducing the wolf!!!  Well about the only critter we have left in my county is black bear, so they may as well release them; I just hope I'm there when they start paying people for the hides and heads after the farmers  report there losses.   There's some things I guess I'll just never understand! ???

Just wait till all the pets start disappearing.  Wolves will kill and eat a dog in a heart beat.  Then when the pets start thinning out they will start looking at kids, and I'm not referring to goats.  We have had several kids and even grown adults attacked up here and some were killed and eaten.  Our forefathers knew what they were doing when they eradicated the wolf from the lower 48.  They knew the wife and kids were not safe just going to the garden with wolves in the area.  It does not matter whether the state imports wolves or not.  They are on their way.  Just like the Coyote, they will spread across the states killing and eating everything they decide is food.  Unlike Coyotes Wolves don't eat mice and rabbits, not when there is deer, cattle, horses, sheep, dogs, and larger animals available.  It's just a matter of time till they start eating people.  And don't believe those tales that wolves don't kill and eat people, they lie.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Three years ago this March, I was sitting here at the computer at l0:45 in the morning.  I glanced out the window, and there, 250 yard away on my alfalfa field is a wolf eating a deer.  I ran and grabbed my .308 thinking if the deer was salvageable, I'd drive the wolf away.  The deer was dead and it made no sense to me to chase the wolf away only to run and kill another deer.  This wolf looked as large as the deer, laying next to it and ripping away at it.  I thought it must be a yearling fawn.  After about 40 minutes, the wolf left, crossed the road and headed for the forest east of me.  I suited up and went down there.  The doe was a 150 pound adult.  She'd hit a drift and bogged down long enough for him to get her.  In the same time frame, a large dairy farm in sight south of me had 8 calves killed right outside the barn.  One was tethered to one of those fiberglass calf igloos.  The wolves dragged the calf and the igloo halfway down the driveway.  Fortunately, this all took place during a brief period when Michigan wolves were reduced to threatened status, and MDNR shot 11 of them, including all the young since they were fixed on cattle as prey.  Just after that, the PETA people got it all temporairily reversed, but DNR had a window to get the job done.  Now, 3 years later, the problem is coming back.  Local farmers are again loosing livestock.

I was locally criticized for not shooting the wolf.  Sure, 200 feet from the road, 2 feet of snow to tell the tale, out in an open field, middle of the day, traffic going by.  I can't afford 5 or 6 thousand bucks in fines, legal fees and restitution.  Forget about loosing my hunting privileges, which would be like a death sentence to me.  They said, "put a FMJ through his guts and let him run off".  With my luck, I'd have hit him between the eyes!  A lot of them say "S.S.S.....shoot, shovel, and shut up."

I have horses, cattle, dogs, cats and chickens.  I told DNR I feel I have the right to defend my family and property.  If wolves attack my livestock, I will shoot them, call the DNR and tell them to come get their wolf, take me away and lock me up, but we're going to the Supreme Court with this one.
Keep both eyes open and make the first shot good.

The farm that I work at now holds the record in the U.P. for most livestock killed, wolves killed (16 in 2 years) and soon there should be 2 if not 3 more problem wolves being taken care of by my Buddy Don the USDA wolf trapper.  We got 4 bills introduced in the Mi Senate and House...Here they are...

HB5686, hb5686 and SB1077 and sb1084...

My new scope is on order from leopold in anticipation of finally being able to take care of our own.  It'll sit nicely on my .270 w/ the 90 "TNT" Speer reloads. Or my latest reload the Barnes Bonded and banded 120 gr monsters!  Woo-Hoo!

I ordered the Boone and Crockett recticle for night time shooting instead of the smaller varmint recticle...

The wolf trapper has this on his carbine .308.  I took one look thru it and knew I just had to have it.  The old 3.4x14x44mm Burris Standby will go  on my long range/heavy bbl savage .223

It's all about that danged money too!  You boy's will take care of them when they come around and try to git in the coop's.  Take it from me, my family are all Mountaineers from Mannington (Hibbs/Dents Run) and we lived in Monongah for a time when I was younger but moved to go work elsewhere. My sitter was going steady w/ Nick Sabain...Used to remember his parents house at Sabain Corners on the way to Grandma's in Mannington.  They My Grandparents) got bought out in the early 60's by ConSol.  Put a few shafts in, brought up some coal, and left it for later.  I remember the big #9 explosion too. We were going to visit my G parents and stopped to help out.  Ma went into a Cousins home to help make sandwiches and snacks for the rescuer's...Sad day that week.

GO MOUNTAINEER'S!!
