Rob,I sure will.I have been signed up for months. It has been several years since it has been there. The first U.P. show I ever did was at Marquette, since then I have done the one dayer near a town hall, the Ice arena when it was close to 100 degrees, slept on the floor of the Whirly Gig,and also the 2 years at Escanaba. I always enjoy my time in the U.P. some of the friendliest people on earth reside there. Tom

UP trappers - directions
« Reply #7 on: July 05, 2003, 02:37:33 PM »
It's pretty easy to get there.  If you are coming from "down below" take either M-28 or US-2/US 41 to Marquette.  From Marquette, if entering from the east, turn left at the 1st stop light (Cliffs Muffler Shop) and go 1 block to the stop sigh and turn left.  Follow the road, County Road 553 until you get to the Crossroads. (intersection of 553 and 480) Keep going on 553 for about 2 miles.  The County fairgrounds are on your right.  If you go up a long hill with a passing lane, you shoulda turned at the bottom of the hill.  If your lost call my office in Negaunee, 475-9961  I'll get ya there somehow.

I've been trying to contact Dave on and off over past week or so- and seriously trying all weekend and this morning- never an answer or answering machine.

Can you give me another contact person? If i can get a vendor space I'm planning on being there.

We have to meet up at NTA someplace.   Are you going to be at the evening campfire trapperman  jawing sessions?   Thats usually where one can meet up as during day most of the vendors are too busy making a buck to get to talk much.
