Just read the feature article in December's "American Hunter", on the Model 70 Stealth w/syn. stock. The author states that the only negative things about the gun were the 1) high trigger pull..7.5lbs., that are adjustable down to acceptable 2.5 lbs.), and 2) the phillips head mounting bolts....the crosses are too shallow allowing the screwdriver blade to slip out when trying to tighten them down to specs. He recommends using the B-Square 5/32allen head screws. These will allow proper tightening. The front and rear bolts should be tightened to 65 inch-pounds and the middle bolt finger tight only. I would strongly recommend reading the entire article (page64) to see just how critical these bolt tightening specs. play in maintaining accuracy.
