Hi all - I have managed to get my hands on a pre-81 for a song because of it's worn tube. While it's away getting a new .308 barrel put on it I'm re-finishing the stock and replacing it's pretty rough recoil pad. Could anyone tell me if the stock dimensions are the same for the pre-81 as the BLR 81? Reason is that limbsaver do a pre-fit pad for the BLR 81 and it would be nice just to be able to pop one on instead of having to buy the grind to fit which is basically the same price.
