Savage model 40 scope mount
« on: February 02, 2008, 08:31:42 AM »
I just mounted a bushnell 4-12 on my mod 40 ( never shot it yet ,just picked it up ) 22 hornet. I have enough room to slide a piece of typing paper between barrel and front lens of scope. Is that ok or should I get higher mounts. I have weaver high mounts on it now.....Thanks ...Dale

Ought to be fine.

A lot of scope for the Hornet!

Enjoy shooting it.
