I added 2 more this last Sunday, traded in a 57 Levermatic in 22 mag. that we couldn't get to pull a case out of the chamber back in on the second 444P that I have seen, in beautiful shape.
Now both P's are in my house.
Then went to Cabela's and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a 1957 336 in 35 rem. that is in outstanding shape. Not a mark on the wood and only a couple of small marks on the top of the receiver. Has an old steel Redfield 4X scope mounted and looks like the factory drilled the hole for the sling swivel in the wrong spot and filled and redrilled. A Marlin double header, what a way to lead up to Fathers Day. ( My wife wonders why I tell her I don't want anything for Fathers Day.
.)
Pic's will follow when my kids help me.
