Hummingbird 3D Matrix Sonar

Has anyone tried this type model.  I believe it advertises that it presents an underwater picture on the screen of what is really present.  Contours, structures, etc appear on the screen, kind of like what it would look like if you suddenly removed all the water and could see into the lake.

I have a Humminbird 997c on my boat.  It does high definition side imaging.  It is unbelievable what can be seen with it.  I don't know how many boat hulls and tires I have seen on the bottom of lakes with it.  Finding a fish crib is also an easy task.  With the built in GPS you can move a cursor over some structure you mark on the sidefinder and mark it as a waypoint(you don't even have to go over the top of the strucure, it could be 100 feet to the side of the boat)  With your waypoint marked you can then navigate to the waypoint.  It almost makes finding schools of crappies easy.  It is not cheap, but in my opinion is a great tool for the fisherman.
