What do I have - Encore Forend?
« on: February 09, 2008, 04:10:43 AM »
I've got a molded plastic forend that appears to have the proper hole spacing for an Encore barrel.  It has the number "55317540" molded inside.  The scews that came with it are 10x32xabout 13/16".   It sits nicely on my 460 carbine barrel and I would like to use.  But, I'll have to fill  and re-drill the screw holes to use the typical 8x40 Encore barrels.  Are there some nifty adapters out there?  Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would just get a forend off of Ebay.  If you go synthetic they are fairly cheap and you won't have to mess with drilling holes and having holes that you don't need.  As far as adapters go I have never heard of them but TC's customer service is great. You could always give them a call. Good luck.
