sixgunner - that's a lot of bacon you got there - way to go.
drdoug: Hey - sorry for not getting back to you sooner but yep, Steve Fobare is a great guy. Did he show you his collection of lever actions? Very impressive (but he won't sell even a one of them).
BTW - the last time I was at the Old Stone Fence we chased this one big guy around a couple of hundred acres. I believe Steve partnered up with a neighboring landowner to expand to about 600 acres. About 200 are big game with Steve and the remainder are birds with the neighbor (I think).
I have thought of going back there but my poor ol dad has been ill for the past few months and that takes a lot of 'planning the hunt' wind out of my sails but I am interested in that Vermont hunt you spoke of.
Beantown?
Oh man, no wonder you like to get out of that area to go huntin'. Must take you at least a week in the wilds to get over the political bs in Boston.
I am still trying to get some more information about the 'wild' or feral hogs that are supposed to be populating the central NY area. I think it would be a great time hunting them but Vermont is only 45 minutes from where I live so I am interested in the Vermont hunt. I used to live very near Pownal, Vt. but that was years ago. Mikey.
