If you buy your ammo it is a fun barrel. The brass in my opinion was not design to be reloaded. It is throw away brass. Went I had one no one made brass for the 5.7x28. Just my two cents. I know people that just loves it. It is one of those things that you just have too have one and find out yourself.

Hi
When MGM had their sale, I had a barrel made for my contender, with a faster twist, to shoot 65 gr. bullets. It is fun!  A friend had 2 made (one rifle, the other pistol)  He loves both! They are a bit harder to reload. There is not much loading data for it. I made up a load with Unique powder, Ruined some brass before I came up with a good load, blew primers. I use magnum small pistol primers. As I worked the load up, I increased powder by .1 grains. The brass has some finish on it...So it does not polish, just a dull "varnish". The brass get really shine as that finish wears off. I shoot mine with a rifle scope ... no kick! Fun toy!!!
Hope this helps!
