« on: February 11, 2008, 01:15:27 PM »
anyone know anything about these little single action 6 shooters? i traded for one yesterday and it is a good solid piece so i fired it today shoots real nice can shoot under 2 inch groups with it. but i had a problem with extracting hulls. i fired about 18 rounds through it and had trouble extracting hulls with all but a few. any ideas about this gun? could it be the shells causing this? thanks for any help u can give me.

try really cleaning the chambers, ive got a gun similar to that and if yu dont keep the chambers clean, it extracts hard.prob just a few rough chambers. there are ways to smooth them out, yu mite post a ? on the gunsmithing forum.

you can try smoothing them by wrapping a piece of cloth around a 22 cal brass bore brush and putting some polishing compound on the cloth. then attach the end of your cleaning rod in a cordless drill and run it thru a few times.im not sure if this is a gunsmith approved process or not.
